Our Team
We are a local roofing company operating on the various strengths of our employees. We have almost 20 years of construction experience ranging from management in heavy civil, all aspects of commercial and residential construction, as well as the hands-on experience of Journeyman carpenters. We can complete a variety of jobs ranging from roofing, siding, windows and paint.
Jason Venzara
Owner
Jason was born and raised in Southeast Denver. He graduated Denver East High, and after a brief stint chasing his dreams of playing baseball in Texas, transferred and graduated with a degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. During his summers he honed his skills as a carpenter through his first company, J/Fence. After college, he gained invaluable skills and knowledge in the field and office. He gained his knowledge in heavy civil, commercial, and residential construction, working his way up from journeyman carpenter to foreman, to superintendent, to project manager. With this experience, he created big Creek Roofing and Restoration after realizing the need within the industry for contractor knowledge. When not enjoying his time with the Big Creek Team he can be found fishing, skiing, running, doing all types of ill shit, and hanging with his young-blood, gangsta son, Vincent.
Cody Goodson
Business Development Manager
Cody is our Business Development Manager. Prior to roofing, Cody’s worked in various marketing fields where she built her experience. With our team, Cody utilizes her strengths through her role in Business Development by meeting new people and sharing ideas to help others grow. She loves being able to build relationships and strengthen the bond along her journey. Cody and our team agree that relationships are the core of community and the core of our company. She is a mother of two amazing boys. She enjoys playing sports, being outdoors, art, going new places and trying new foods and spending time with her family.
Tyler Patterson
Residential Operations
Tyler Patterson is our Residential Operations Manager. He handles all aspects of the day to day operations to ensure our clients are happy and up to date during their construction process. With 10 years of residential roofing experience from field management of installations, to production management of build operations. Tyler has 3 wonderful children with his wife of 12 years. Tyler enjoys camping, 4 wheeling, furniture restoration, and all the free time he can get with his family.
Chris Pratt
Safety Manager
Chris Pratt has been an employee of Big Creek Roofing & Restoration for a year now. He started in the roofing industry in 1990 when the big hailstorm hit. Since then he has over 30 years’ experience in roofing sales, project management and insurance adjusting. As Safety Manager for Big Creek, Chris brings his experience and knowledge to ensure safety compliance in all areas of roofing. Chris enjoys the outdoors, hiking, hunting, fishing and attending classic rock concerts.
Tamara Olivas
Office Manager
Tamara Olivas has been a part of Big Creek Roofing & Restoration for over 2 years. She is the Business Operations Manager/Team Mom, ultimately taking care of all the financial aspects of the company as well as the projects. She has a BA in Organizational Management and Accounting. Tamara has been in the construction industry for 6 years. She is a proud mama to her 3 children. In her free time, she enjoys sporting events, movies, working out and crafting. Tamara also enjoys coaching basketball. .
